Can’t Fight City Hall is a blog about media, sex, gender, power, and politics–just like a Women’s Studies class without all the fancy schmancy discourse analysis words. ‘You can’t fight City Hall’ is a cynical statement when one feels one can’t change circumstances. The author was feeling cynical when she first started this blog during her time in graduate school. The name stuck.
Commenting on Can’t Fight City Hall
Can’t Fight City Hall believes in openness and equality. Unlike some witty feminist blogs, you don’t have to be a natural wit to have an opinion. There is no “auditioning” to leave a comment; however, comments are being moderated and if you think that saying something mean, sexist, racist, homophobic, or hateful will get you a spot on this blog, you’re sadly mistaken.
